"Energy" Bars A lot of energy bars contain sugar and high fructose corn syrup. Make sure you read the label because some bars are not only high in fat but pack a lot of calories.
Bran Muffins The problem with muffins are the size. Stores today make the 'extra large' ones and that's where the fat and calories add up. If you buy a store brand, cut it in half and you'll save yourself a lot of work at the gym.
Smoothies Be careful with this one. Depending on what you're adding to it you could be negating all the hard work you've just done at the gym. Remember, portion control. Smaller is better.
A good rule of thumb.....if it is processed and the ingrediants are words that you can not pronounce, it's not good for you! If it was put in the Garden of Eden, it is Good for you!
